Simple hand, simple eye, nothing to write home about
Yet the artist chisels at the stone
Curious, the child tugs the fingers of the bigger
He wants to see the face that is his own
He’s not alone
-Downhere, Making Me
I am an ordinary twenty-something gal with a heart that somehow can’t shake that I am called to a life less ordinary. Sometimes, I am the child tugging on the Sculpter’s hands, wanting to see the finished product. Other times, I am just content with the journey.
Right now, this journey has me with
Adventures in Missions, specifically working with the
Community Life program and the
World Race. My heart is to see the Body of Christ awakened to their full potential and purpose in Him and His Kingdom. Each day that can look like something different, but I praise God for the opprotunities He gives me to come alongside Him in what He is doing, both globally and locally.
