heard my World Race story, you will probably have heard about how close
I got to a family of missionaries in Mozambique. Jaco and Maria
Rudolph and their children Maggie and Rudo are South African but have
dedicated their lives to reaching the orphans and lost in Vilanculos,
Mozambique.
We are as a family going thru a very difficult time. I went for a
small operation on Thursday and will know today ( Monday ) if I have
cancer of the glands. This is really very difficult for me it is as if
my mind keep on running away all the time thinking about ” what if “.
What about my family and the ministry. Then I just say to myself but
God is in controle. Please pray for us we really need it.
They are good people. Keep us posted.
I love his faith that “God is in control”. I had a wonderful Scottish Presbyterian friend in the church here who died 15 yrs. ago at age 90. She was a hearty soul who married a man from our hometown, after meeting him in England where she was a nurse in the 1930’s. She had such faith in God, and used to say,”God is the ruler yet” in situations that were perplexing. She was very strong and outspoken for the Lord. She had such respect for the Lord, it reminded me of the title of the J.B.Phillips book, “Your God is too Small.” But even though He is a large God, He loves us with such tenderness. I pray He will give healing to this brother-mentally, physically, and spiritually. And I thank God for this family’s wonderful work with the orphans. “If ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me.”
