Last fall, AIM held its first annual BreakThru Conference. Every year AIM mobilizes thousands of young people onto the mission field. We often say the only baggage we want people carrying with them overseas is the pack on their back. To help them minister effectively, AIM leadership has gathered seasoned ministers and teachers to walk our participants through a process of growth and healing. The fruit from these times has been so impactful, AIM is now wanting to offer this opportunity to others who are desiring something more.
The truth is that we all have things
that hold us back. We all get stuck. We all get hung up on lies we have
believed our whole lives about who we are or who God is. Sometimes we
feel stuck but we don’t even really know why.

At the BreakThru conference, we learn how to hear God’s voice and
follow it. We also look at experiences in our lives that may have
caused fear, mistrust, unforgiveness or other wounds that can keep us
from experiencing God’s fullness in our lives. We learn how to grieve
those things instead of stuffing them down, so that we can be free to
move beyond them.

God has brought me down my own personal path of freedom and restoration over the past few years. I appreciate the truth that I heard spoken through the Walborns and other AIM presenters during that weekend. I believe the comprehension and practical application of these teachings are vital for we as a Body to comprehend on an individual level if we are to move forward corporately as the victorious Bride that Jesus is longing to manifest Himself through on this earth.
